The Monk design integrates the modernist tradition and contemporary design. Originally, the Monk chair and easy chair were designed for the purpose of renovation of Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, which is an icon of the Croatian architecture. At the same time, their design pays homage to a very popular classic design by Niko Kralj - the Lupina chair. The chair’s shell is composed of two bent pieces of plywood upholstered in fabric, with a simple structure made of massive wood or metal lying underneath. The armrest forms part of the seat and the whole shell appears to float independently of its relatively inconspicuous support. The Monk collection includes a chair, easy chair and a chair with the central swivel base (fixed or with castors). In addition to the basic barstool model, there is also a new version of Monk barstool and the counter stool available with the backrest upholstered in fabric. The base comes in two heights and with four legs or a sled base. The Monk collection also includes a dining room table, bench and low tables.

Monk family of chairs has been further extended adding a chair with central swivel base, fixed or with castors. Upholstered seat and the backrest enhance the quality of sitting, making this chair ideal for the long-hours office work, wherever your place of business is, at home or in office. Monk barstools with backrest are a new members of the Monk collection. The seat and the back are made of  bent plywood, like in chairs and easychairs – and upholstered in fabric. The base comes in two heights (counter stool – 60 cm; barstool – 75 cm) – and with four legs or sled base.
