"Far more than a factory“ video features Prostoria's distinct way of creating and manufacturing furniture 100% in our factory in Croatia, which sets us apart in the international premium furniture market. The design has inspired us to explore materials and technologies and to perfect the craftsmanship. Nevertheless, the film shows that our drive behind the entire process is the team working with the mindset of a problem solver and the heart of a maker.

Prostoria's remarkbale path of becoming furniture manufacture to a booming design-led company happend in a short time span of less than a decade. Tom Knezovic, the brand's founder and CEO, is more than a manager, he's the spiritus movens of Prostoria and R&D is the place where he works the most: „Each new design In Prostoria starts as an experiment we believe in. Although we have 20 engineers in R&D department and designers, we all are involved in development. We all comment, argue and follow. It's a horizontal process we enjoy. We've faced many challenges along the way, a journey that taught us lessons in change, development, resilience and even starting from scratch.“
Our biggest advantage is to have the research and development department within our factory, with the production by our side. In this way the team is always dedicated to problem solving, it can make changes accordingly, adapt and even start again from scratch.

“Far more than a factory” features that ongoing quest in Prostoria was and still is to produce furniture that feels like comfort brought to life. This particular comfort is an outcome of constant innovation, both of the function of a product and its refined form. The craftsmen and designers continue to pursue innovative product solutions and ways to implement them, down to the finest detail. For people in Prostoria, the entire process is a matter of honesty, of taking pride in their work and the heritage they leave behind.
